Caroline Gail Gleichenhaus, 72, passed away December 18, 2008 in Savannah, GA. She was born January 5, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY to David and Rose Sinowitz..
Caroline is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Lionel Gleichenhaus; daughter, Randi Pakula; sister, Susan and Dr. Herbert Benkel; grandchildren, Corey and Tanya; great grandchildren, Caleb and Rylan.
A graveside service was held at 10:00 am, Sunday, December 21 at Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, with Rabbi Matuson Officiating.

Linda Davis Pennell, 60, passed away December 9, 2008 after a brief bout with pancreatic cancer. Linda was born in New York City on April 28, 1948 and was raised in Glendora California. The family moved to Florida in the early 60's where Linda graduated from Fletcher High School in 1966 before attending the University of Florida. An active member of the community, Linda worked on many charitable and community events, political campaigns and was a successful real estate agent. In recent years she was a manager with Jackson Hewitt Tax Preparation Services.
She is survived by her father, William Davis; son, Will (Miriam) Pennell; her cherished granddaughter, Chelsy; daughter, Andie (Tom) Patton; sisters, Billie Sue (Jimmy) Johnston, Judy (Andrew) Barnes, and Teri (Tom) Metz; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held December 19th at 10am in the chapel at Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach.

Juergen Boettcher, 68, passed away December 5, 2008 in Jacksonville, FL.
He was born April 25, 1940 to Alfred and Erika Boettcher in Berlin, Germany. Juergen is survived by his loving wife, Ingrid Boettcher; two daughters, Silvia (Jeff) Jarrett and Andrea (Ralf) Boettcher.
A memorial service was held Saturday, December 13 at Ponte Vedra Valley with Reverend Dana Brones Officiating.

Theresa (Terry) Castellano, of Ponte Vedra Beach, passed away on Sunday, November 23, at the age of 88 years. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland to Bridget O’Malley O’Donnell and William Michael O’Donnell of Louisburgh, County Mayo, Ireland. Terry was raised in Louisburgh until coming to the states as a young girl.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael of 59 years in 2001. She is survived by her loving children, Eileen and Chuck Johnson, Christine and John Levchuk, Claire Castellano all of Ponte Vedra Beach and Michael and Ozana Castellano of Robbinsville, NJ. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Katharine and Matthew Levchuk, Kristen and Megan Castellano and Kevin and Scott Johnson.
She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church and the Players Community Senior Center. Before moving to Ponte Vedra Beach, Terry lived in Garden City and Brooklyn, NY.
A memorial service and Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 28, 2 pm at the chapel of Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach. A reception will follow at the Players Community Senior Center immediately afterward.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name, can be made to the Sunshine Club at the Players Community Senior Center or Northeast Florida Community Hospice, McGraw Center.
The family would like to thank McGraw Hospice and the Mayo doctors for the comfort and compassion given to their mother.

David Allen Smith, 71, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008. He was born October 12, 1937 to Samuel and Mabel Smith in Greensboro, NC. Allen worked for Allstate Insurance Company for over 30 years before moving to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida in 2003. He was a faithful member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, sang in the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus and Our Lady Star of the Sea Choir. Allen is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Sara Smith; children and spouses, David Smith, Michael & Stephanie Smith, Jose & Donna Buchholz, Liesel & Craig Jones, Patricia & Daniel Morgan and Elsa Buchholz; sisters and spouses, Carol & John Dyson and Linda & Steve Dix; six grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 25, Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 26, Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Ponte Vedra Beach with Father Glenn Charest officiating. Interment and reception to follow at Ponte Vedra Valley. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Heart Association in his memory.
