Brent moved from South Dakota in 2004 after graduating from Black Hills State University with his Bachelor's degree. After moving to Florida, Brent spent a summer working as a grounds keeper for the cemetery, and in the fall began working in the office while earning his Associates degree from Florida Community College at Jacksonville in Funeral Services. When Brent graduated in December of 2006 with his degree in Funeral Services, he became one of only a limited number of funeral directors to hold a bachelors and associates degree.
Patricia A. West is the only woman in Florida to own a Funeral Home and Cemetery combination. Starting out as an educator, the leap to cemeterian was a huge one, but it was soon proven that service to families at their most urgent time of need was her true calling. Patricia is determined that every grieving family is given the care and consideration they deserve.
Jacque is a graduate of Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota and moved to Ponte Vedra with her family in 2004. She is the niece of Patricia and Tommy West, the owners of Ponte Vedra Valley, and is also the wife of Brent Headrick, Ponte Vedra Valley’s Licensed Funeral Director. Jacque works in the office as the Comptroller, a Cemeterian, and also helps families with purchasing monuments.
