Elaine Stratouly, 92, of Ponte Vedra, passed away on April 26, 2024, after suffering a terrible accident. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing.
Elaine was born on April 4, 1932, to Alfred and Mildred DeClerico in Lynn, Massachusetts. In 1947, she met the love of her life, Dean C. Stratouly, and they wed in 1951, going on to have five children: Dean F. Stratouly, Paula Phillips, Brian Stratouly, Lauren Baker, and Adriene Helt.
When Elaine had her first child, Dean, she dedicated her life to motherhood. She raised her children to be independent and thoughtful adults. Her goal and passion in life was to see each child earn a college degree. She succeeded in this goal.
She is survived by her children and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to St. John Paul II church in Ponte Vedra (Nocatee), Florida.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to the Wake which will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 6-8 pm with a Prayer Service starting at 7 pm at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. John Paul II Church in Ponte Vedra (Nocatee), Florida.
