It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Meyers announces his passing, on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Daniel was born on December 20, 1968 in Heerlen, The Netherlands, to William L. Meyers and Martha N. Ricaldi. He graduated in 1987 from Solon High School in Cleveland, Ohio and in 1990 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he specialized as a Redeye Stinger Gunner Operator of the United States Army Air Defense Artillery School. In 1997 he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the Ohio State University.
Lovingly remembered by his mother, Martha Ricaldi, brother, Michael Meyers Shane, his children, Zachary Daniel and Alessandra Rose. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Heather Pavlov Meyers, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends world-wide.
Daniel was passionate in his beliefs and his relationships. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Lobo, Bud and Tonka, and he was a hardcore fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeyes. Most of all, he doted on Zachary and Allesandra, his children, the highlights of his life. Daniel also enjoyed movies, heavy metal music and was an exceptional dancer.
A Funeral Service in memory of Daniel will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at the Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Daniel to the Wounded Warrior Project.
