Francis Xavier McDermott, 99, passed away in Jacksonville, FL, on May 13, 2019. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Thomas McDermott and Elizabeth Deeney on February 9, 1920. Francis proudly served his country during WWII as a Major in the US Army Air Corp. He is now reunited with his wife of 62 years, Dorothea Rose. He is survived by his children, Michael, Thomas, Karen and Dorothea; grandchildren, Jason, Tiffany, George, Cameron, Adam, Jordan, Justin and Tara; great-grandchildren, Drew, Ashlyn, Alexander, Olivia, Haven, Heston, Sofie, Alysandra, Camden, Afton and Rylan. Inurnment will take place in Pennsylvania at a later date.
