The Vinson Foundation is a non-profit organization designed to help families and friends cope with losing a loved one to suicide.  Group facilitators are survivors of a suicide loss who volunteer their time and resources to help other families and friends left behind. Vinson Foundation offers support groups and one-on-one support for children and adults that are extremely important to their mental health. While the Vinson Foundation is not a crisis center, and facilitators are not trained counselors or therapists, they provide a safe, confidential and supportive environment for people to share as much or as little as they choose.
