Our funeral director & staff can help with the planning of funeral services, arranging of military honors, and scheduling burial at Ponte Vedra Valley or in a National Cemetery.
*Due to the continued public health concerns associated with COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to not host our annual Veterans Day Celebration at Ponte Vedra Valley.*
Ponte Vedra Valley is honored to serve those who have served our country. Our funeral director and staff can help with the planning of funeral services and arranging of military honors, along with scheduling burial at Ponte Vedra Valley or in a National Cemetery.
Our cemetery grounds have a Veterans Circle where military services can be held and military plaques can be displayed, a flagpole columbarium for the above ground burial of cremains, and inground burial sites.
The preferred method is the DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty. If the DD Form 214 is not available, any discharge document showing other than dishonorable service can be used. The DD Form 214 may be obtained by filling out a Standard Form 180 and sending it to:
National Personnel Records Center (NPRC)
9700 Page Blvd.
St. Louis, MO 63132
The Standard Form 180 may be obtained from the National Records Center or via the following web site: http://www.archives.gov/research/order/standard-form-180.pdf
Ponte Vedra Valley is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our office is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, with appointments available on Sunday or after hours.
