Amanda L. Krausser, 31, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2020, from a preexisting heart condition. Amanda was born on April 16, 1988, to Randy Hyde and Debbie Orr of Ellijay, Georgia. She was an alumnus of Gilmer County High School.
Amanda grew up in the Baptist faith as a child in Gilmer County, Ga. Presently she was a homemaker to her loving her husband and three beautiful children. Married to her husband, Kurt L. Krausser, they made their home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. A Christian woman who devoted herself to her family, her highest priority and joy was instilling wisdom and character in her children.
Amanda spent her early years in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Georgia and after marriage moved south with Kurt and fell in love with the oceanside of Florida. Before starting a family, Amanda was a caregiver to the elderly. She was an avid follower of the weather and aspired to become a meteorologist; Amanda had made future plans to do so. Her garden and home, decorated with her favorite butterflies, reflected her love of nature, as did her shark tooth collection. Amanda, Kurt and the children spent countless days at the beach as a family fishing, collecting shark teeth, and treasure hunting. Amanda and Kurt were inseparable. She was loved very much by all of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kurt Lawrence; daughter, Isabella Rose; and sons, Glenn Edward and Nox Lawrence; sister, Jessie Hyde; brothers, Sam Baugh and Mitch Orr of Ellijay, Georgia; mother-in-law, Joanne V. Ryan of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; father-in-law, Glenn W. Krausser; step-mother, Charlotte P. Krausser of Ellijay,GA; brother-in-law, Shane E. Krausser; sister-in-law, Delia J. Hardy, Jennifer Krausser Dahmer and her husband, Brian of Richfield, WI; stepsisters and stepbrother Tonya Cramer, M.D. of Colton, CA, and Todd and Sarah Cramer of Lynchburg, VA.
Amanda was preceded in death by loving brother, Chad Hyde of Ellijay, GA.
