Anthony George Constantino, 92, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2022. Anthony “Bookie” was born June 16, 1930, in Paterson, NJ, to Salvatore and Jennie Constantino. He married his beloved “Bride”, Patricia, in 1953. Bookie served in the National Guard and had a long career with Frank A. McBride from a plumber apprentice in the field to their chief mechanical estimator. His career brought him to Florida in 1979 and he went on to work for Sauer Inc and Hoffman Mechanical. Bookie’s work took him across the US and around the world. He was an avid golfer and there was nothing he enjoyed more than being on the course with his family and friends. Life took him on many adventures with his bride. They were the definition of true love and family meant the world to them.
Bookie now joins his beloved bride, Pat, of 69 years. He was a loving and supportive father to Michael (Eva), Anthony, Patti Earl (Garry), Paul (Barbara) and Margie Archuleta (Archie). Bookie took great joy and pride in his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery. A reception to follow at Ponte Vedra Valley.
