On the evening of October 10, 2023, Antoinette Cammarata passed away peacefully after a difficult battle with breast cancer and is finally at peace. She was 71 years old.
Antoinette, called Toni by everyone she knew, was born in Staten Island, New York, to Anthony and Carmella Anzalone in 1952. In 1969, she met Salvatore, and they were married in 1974, going on to have two children, Salvatore Jr. and Kristine, which brought her ultimate happiness. Toni had an incredible artistic talent that shined through her entire life. She also happily studied at The Art Students League of New York. She enjoyed traveling and experienced singing with the church choir at significant churches in Ireland, Spain and Italy. Then in 2013, Toni and Sal moved to Ponte Vedra, Florida, and lived with family. She became very involved with her beloved church and friends at St John Paul II Catholic Church.
Toni loved her family, her parents, her sisters, brothers-in-law, all of her nieces and nephews. Then her son and daughter-in-law blessed her with her first granddaughter. Emily just meant the world to her and then she was blessed with twin granddaughters, Elizabeth, and Erica. Carmella and eventually her twin grandsons, Carmine and Giuseppe, came along to fill her heart too. She was an amazing, warm-hearted caring person that always put everyone else before herself. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
