Our hearts are heavy as we are deeply saddened to announce that my Mom has passed away. Barbara J. Palmer left us way too soon and unexpectedly on Sunday, November 25th, 2018. As my family and I ended the holiday weekend losing someone we love, we also realize how grateful we are to have had her in our lives. We are also grateful to have such wonderful family and friends who are supporting us through this difficult time. As we mourn and grieve, we are also remembering all the joy she has brought to our family. One thing everyone should know about my Mom is how much she loved and cherished her sons and grandson. She also gained additional family the day I got married and she has treated them as if they were her own daughter and grandkids; she loves them all dearly. We don’t always get the chance to tell or show our loved ones how we truly feel about them, and I can say that my Mom has been very good to me throughout my life. She would give me the shirt off her back…the food in her fridge…her shoulder to cry on…the last bit of money she had if I needed it and I am eternally grateful. I will deeply miss her and there will not be a day that goes by that I don’t think of her. I would like to share something we found that she recently wrote: “I’ll always need my son no matter what age I am, my son has made me laugh…made me proud…made me cry…hugged me tight…seen me fall…cheered me up…kept me strong…and driven me crazy at times! But, my son is a promise from God that I will have a friend forever!” I would like to invite you to share something about my Mom or anything you would like to say to us on the Tribute Wall…..
