Beatrice Roman, 96, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, passed away surrounded by loved ones on August 16, 2026.  She was born on June 3, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, to John and Mary Fascianella. Beatrice married Walter Roman on April 21, 1957.  

They worked and raised their family in Norwalk, Connecticut, before retiring.  They would split time in Milford, Connecticut, and The Villages, Florida, before finally relocating to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, to be closer to family.

Beatrice is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Walter A. Roman; daughter, Marisa Sage and her husband, Doug; son, Walter Roman and his wife, Debbie; grandson, Matthew Sage and his wife, Stephanie; granddaughter, Stephanie Thurman and her husband, Josh; great grandson, Colton Thurman.

Family was the most important aspect in Beatrice’s Life.  She will be remembered most for being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Her legacy will live on through her family.
