Brian Rinker, Jr passed away on April 3, 2025 in Martin County, Florida. Born on December 14, 2000, in New York, NY, he was the beloved son of Maria Carmina Rinker and Dr. Brian Rinker.
Brian spent his childhood in Lexington, KY, surrounded by his large family, friends, and abundant natural beauty. He moved to Northeast Florida in 2018, and he was a 2019 graduate of Ponte Vedra High School, where he graduated with honors. After graduation he pursued studies at Florida Atlantic University. He had a lively curiosity about the world and enjoyed traveling to new places and meeting people. He was a gifted artist and was able to express his gift equally in visual arts, through his writing, and photography. He was a gentle soul and touched everyone around him with his compassion and empathy, always putting the feelings of others ahead of his own. He loved animals, especially his beloved and bereaved Australian Shepherd, Shasta.
Brian shared a deep bond with his four siblings. Growing up, he was the life of the group. He added his unique humor and spark to any activity. His younger siblings adored him and looked up to him. They would follow him joyfully into any crazy adventure.
Brian is survived by his sisters: Isabelle, Sophia, and Emma; brother, William; stepmother, Elise Rinker; stepsister, Josephine Davis; grandmother, Corazon Prado of Jersey City, NJ; and grandfather, Earle Rinker of Endwell, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15, at 11:00 am, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, followed by interment at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery.
Brian’s spirit will live on in the many lives he touched and all who remember his smile, his laugh, and the love he shared. He was beautiful inside and out. Brian was deeply loved and therefore will be deeply missed.
