Carol Ann Lasure-Hearne, 63, died Wednesday Oct. 19 2022, at Baptist South Hospital, in Jacksonville Florida. She was born on May 16th 1959, in New Martinsville, WV to Harold and Mary Lasure. She graduated from Weir High School in Weirton, WV in 1977. After school she moved to Desoto, TX where she married Lon Carol Hearne on June 14, 1995 in Lancaster, TX. In her spare time, Carol enjoyed helping others, spending time at the Dallas, TX zoo with her daughter Renee, cooking, taking care of their cat Daisy and fostering kittens for Small Lives Matter, Friskies Cat Café in St Augustine.
Carol is survived by her father – Harold Austin Lasure, St Augustine, FL; her daughter – Morgan Renee Hearne, St. Augustine, FL; one sister – Diane France, New Cumberland, WV; two brothers – David Lasure, Jacksonville, FL and Harold Lee Lasure, Follansbee, WV; along with several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lon and mother Mary. Carol’s visitation will be at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, 10/20/2022 from 10am to noon for friends and neighbors, and noon to 1 pm for family.
