Carole D. Witten, 88, passed away September 21, 2021. She was born in Jacksonville, FL, to Nathan and Emma (nee Cohen) Dwoskin on December 29, 1932. She had five siblings, 4 girls of which she was the youngest sister (Sarah, Dolly, Anne), and a brother (Benny). They were all born and grew up in Jacksonville and all, but Carole moved away to Texas. Carole visited them and their families often, she loved to travel and stayed close to her family and friends wherever they lived. She usually took her children with her to see her family and the world. She had a successful real estate career and enjoyed the business milieu and the beach. She adored her pet dogs. She was an avid reader and intellect with a great sense of humor and lived her life to the fullest. She will be lovingly remembered and missed.
Carole is survived by her daughter, Wendy E. Witten of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; her son, Dr. Andrew L. Witten and his wife, Tetiana (Tanya) Musiienko, of Neptune Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Zachary M. Witten of Jacksonville, FL and Alexandra I. Witten of Chestnut Hill, MA; her sister, Sarah Kleinman of Houston, TX; many nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews, and other relatives from her extended family, as well as numerous friends, and three grand cats, Luna, Truffle and Barsik.
A private graveside service was held at Ponte Vedra Valley.
