Christine L. (Seavey) Angevine, 75, of St. Augustine, Florida, formerly from Plattsburgh, NY, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2022, surrounded by loved ones after an unrelenting battle with cancer.  She was born October 29, 1946, in Muskegon, MI, and attended Plattsburgh State University where she obtained a Master’s in Education and Administration.

Chris began as Special Education teacher at Peru Central School in Peru, NY, and later became an elementary school Principal until her retirement in 2009. She was a mentor, colleague, friend, role model, and tireless leader in her school community. Many described her as an unsung hero that made the children of Peru not only successful but most of all loved.

Throughout life, Chris loved to travel and share experiences with family and friends. She cherished family vacations, cheering on grandchildren at their sporting events, and treasured the relationships formed with friends. Her greatest joy was her family and she always gave unconditional love with encouragement. She lived what she believed by loving her family every day - “Say it, Feel it, Know it!”

She is survived by daughter, Katrina Krasinski and son-in-law, Robert; son, Travis Angevine, and daughter-in-love, Michelle; grandchildren, Rebekah Krasinski, Hannah Krasinski, Ty Angevine, and Robby Krasinski. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Suzanne Seavey, along with her sister, Sharron Seavey.

A Catholic burial mass will take place at Saint John Paul II, 127 Stone Mason Way, Ponte Vedra, FL, 32081, in the spring of 2022 to celebrate Chris’s life.

Memorial donations may be made in Chris's name to Community Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257 or give online at www.communityhospice.com/give
