Cindy Lou Drastal, 62, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2024 in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Cindy is survived by her mother, Joanne Drastal; her brothers John (Susan) and Brian (Suzanne) Drastal, sister Jackie Colella; seven nieces and nephews, Meghan (John) Ryan, Kimberly Drastal, Matthew Drastal, Elizabeth Drastal, Sam Drastal, Alex Colella, McKenna Colella, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved Golden Retriever, Olive. Cindy was predeceased by her father, Edward F. Drastal and her brother W. Scott Drastal.
Having been a lifelong resident of Monmouth County NJ, Cindy was born and raised in Rumson and graduated from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School. Having learned so much from her Dad's construction business, Cindy later purchased a Victorian fixer-upper in Atlantic Highlands and poured her heart and soul into restoring her home.
Possessed with a creative, generous, quirky and loving spirit, Cindy took on many projects over the years with vision, enthusiasm and joy in her heart. Her love for her family, friends and particularly her nieces, nephews and her Goldens, knew no bounds.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a date to be determined in the future.
