Cody Covington, 23, passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident on January 17, 2017, in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.  Cody was born to Scott and Donna Covington in Houston, TX, on April 10, 1993.  Cody is survived by his loving parents, Scott and Donna; sisters, Taylor, Rachel and Ashlyn; grandparents, Bill and Donna Covington of Charlotte, NC, Larry and Marian Darnell of Cypress, TX; his uncle, Jeff Covington; his aunts, Terri Oliver, Kim Darnell and Pilar Barreda; his many cousins, special friend Breanna Juarez, and numerous friends. A celebration of his life will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Crosswater Community Church, 211 Davis Park Road, Ponte Vedra, FL, 32081, with Reverend Jack Millwood Officiating.  The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers donations in Cody’s honor be made to Children’s Health Ministries of Haiti (http://www.chmhaiti.org/), Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Support Association (http://www.RSDS.org), or the Autism Society (http://autism-society.org).
