Constance Cammack Gugger
September 8, 1943 - August 7, 2022
Constance Maisano Cammack Gugger, 78, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 7, 2022 after a long illness.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Connie came to Florida at a young age and grew up in Winter Haven, Florida, where her family established businesses in the citrus industry and in real estate. Connie later lived, worked and raised her family in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she resided for much of her life. She was retired and enjoyed spending her time gardening, sewing, traveling and being with family. Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was always there with a wonderful hug and a beautiful smile. She will be remembered for her deep love of family, her strong faith, her enduring positive attitude and great sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughters Dawn Freeman (Scott) Orlando; Laura McCloskey (Robbie) Saint Augustine; four grandchildren, Lauren, Trent, Cameron, and Erin as well as siblings Sam Maisano (Paula), Sarah Remillard (Roger), Napoleon Maisano, and many nieces and nephews. Connie was predeceased by her husband, Frank T. Cammack, Jr.; parents Joseph and Concettina Maisano; siblings Joseph Maisano, Rose Carracino, Mary Lofroos, Michael Maisano, Madalyn Greene, and Anthony Maisano.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10th at San Jose Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, Ponte Vedra Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
