In Loving Memory of Darren D. Campbell

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Darren Douglas Campbell, beloved father, brother, son and friend, on December 18th, 2023, in St. Augustine, FL. He was 49 years old. His untimely departure has left a void in our hearts, but we celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched the lives of many.

Born on February 16th, 1974, in Miami, FL, Darren spent his early years there, later moving to GA, where he attended high school. After several years in CO, he returned to Miami, earning his Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2006. In summer 2023, Darren relocated to St. Augustine, FL, where he embraced the beauty and tranquility of his new surroundings for him and his daughter. He created countless memories there with his brother, Ryan, and sister-in-law, Kelli, with whom he shared bonds that transcended the ordinary.

Professionally, Darren achieved significant success as the Executive Director of Campbell Real Estate Advisory in Miami. In 2017, he earned the Master of Corporate Real Estate designation, a testament to his commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence. He won the national 1st Phorm Transphormation Challenge in fall 2018, that highlighted not only his passion for physical fitness, but also his fierce drive and ability to conquer personal goals.

Darren’s presence was a beacon of warmth. An enthusiasm for life extended to all he did, from his love for photography and orchids, the joy he found in preparing delicious meals for family, to his eagerness for always learning. He had a generous spirit and a yearning to help motivate others. Many will remember how his sense of humor could change the energy of an entire room.

Above all, Darren was the most devoted father. His beloved little girl, Jadeh, was his entire world, and he cherished every moment spent with her, whether helping in her homeschool, exploring creativity in art together, creating dad-daughter cooking shows in the kitchen, or braiding her hair. Darren’s love and support for Jadeh were unwavering. Their bond was a source of immeasurable joy, and a testament to the depth of his paternal love.

In early 2021, Darren faced unforeseen challenges with remarkable strength, courage and faith. Despite the ongoing adversities, his sole focus was to provide his daughter the best life possible without worrying about himself. His resilience and determination were a testament to his character, inspiring all who knew him.

Darren’s impact will be forever felt by his family, who loves him dearly. His memory will endure through the love he shared, the lessons he imparted, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind. He is survived by his daughters, Jadeh and Jordynn; his brothers, Ryan [Kelli] and Andrew; his mother and father, Sherry [Mike] and Douglas [Bobette]. He was preceded in death by his brother, Justin B. Campbell. A private memorial service for friends and loved ones to honor and celebrate Darren’s life is to be scheduled and held in St. Augustine, FL.

Condolences can be sent to the family via Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home.

May he rest in eternal peace.
