David Bryan Graham
October 21, 1956 — November 2, 2026
The world lost a faithful man on November 2, 2026, when David Bryan Graham left this world for his heavenly home. Born on October 21, 1956, in Fort Gordon, Georgia, David lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends.
David was blessed to grow up with a loving family, the son of the late Richard and Katie Graham. He is survived by his sister, Angie Bell and his brother, Norman Graham (Suzanne). He moved to Jacksonville with his family in 1965 and spent all but a few years there. A 1974 graduate of Englewood High School, David developed a keen interest in music as a teen, particularly in playing the drums. Later, his enthusiasm for photography developed into a discerning eye for the artistic as evidenced in his many images (mostly black and white as he was color blind). He was a lifelong fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and also an admirer of the writings of Flannery O'Connor, whose works resonated with his contemplative nature.
In 1985, David married his beloved wife Debbie, together raising her boys and their son, Richard. Their strong faith in Christ was evident in their commitment to their church, friends, and family. After Debbie's passing in 2001, David found love once more and married Brenda in 2004. Brenda, his son Richard, stepsons Trey and Jason Goff, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, survive him and will forever cherish his memory.
Throughout his career, David worked with dedication and integrity. He began his professional journey with King’s X-Ray and later worked for W.W. Gay. David had a quick wit and a way with words. Just after turning 70, he remarked, "I've now reached threescore and ten so the rest is grace and gravy", a testament to his gratitude for the life he led.
David was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He loved Jesus Christ and knew Him to be a loving Savior. His faith was a guiding light in his life, influencing his actions and his relationships with those around him. This was evidenced most in his vocation as husband and father. As a husband following the model of what Christ did for the Church, laying down his life in service of his bride, first for his late wife, Debbie, and then for Brenda. As a father he provided, corrected, encouraged, and loved. Most importantly he modeled the importance of being a disciple of Christ.
There will be a closed casket visitation at noon preceding a funeral Mass that will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at 1:00pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9800 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm at Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Family Catholic Church St. Vincent de Paul Society. Checks can be made to “Holy Family-St. Vincent de Paul Society".
