David passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 72 after a valiant battle with cancer with family by his side. Throughout his battles with cancer he always approached life with a positive outlook and hope. David was a bright light in so many lives. He was loved, he will be missed but always remembered.

He is survived by his mother, Chieko Miyamura; brother, Ted Miyamura; sister-in-law Hilda Miyamura; lifelong partner, Bette Marcoux, with whom he spent the best days of his life; his three "inherited" step-children, Eric Marcoux, Nicole Wickens & Christopher Marcoux; and three grandchildren, Taryn Borst, Megan Marcoux and Jacob Marcoux. David was a devoted son, a great friend, and an incredible grandfather. He enjoyed traveling the world, spending time with his friends & family, and trips to the lake.  

David’s Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1:00 pm EST on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Ponte Vedra Valley in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. A virtual option will be available during and after the service.
