David Raymond Walsh, 59, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, in the company of his loving family. He was born in Princeton, Illinois to Ruth Ann Walsh and Thomas Raymond Walsh. David spent his younger years in Germany and England where he was active in soccer and Boy Scouts. His mother worked in the Department of Defense, so they spent time traveling Europe for over nine years. After which time he returned to Miami, FL and went to the University of Miami. He enlisted into the Air Force and was a Gulf War Veteran. David then enrolled into the University of St. Cloud, Minnesota, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He chose a career with Bank of America in Jacksonville, FL, where he spent seventeen happy years. He later went on to work with Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Everyone who encountered David liked him; he was always helpful, positive, and kind.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Pierce Walsh; his mother, Ruth Walsh-Smith; his sister, Deborah Walsh; aunt, Nancy Wolf; niece, Shannon; nephew, Sean; his stepfather, Charles Linden Smith; his three sons, Jeff, David "Zulu", and Andrew; and lastly, Louie, his favorite dog; but do not tell Honey that Louie was his favorite. David is predeceased by his father, Thomas Raymond Walsh; and brother, Thomas Patrick Walsh. David brought joy, passion, and love to all he encountered and will be deeply missed.
