Donald James Welde, 77, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away on January 25, 2019, surrounded by family.  He was born on September 16, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, to Matthew and Elsie (Fahrner) Welde.  Don graduated from Conestoga High School and Drexel University.

He is survived by his fiancé, Candice Buerger of Jacksonville Beach, FL;  daughter, Kimberly Hawley (Chris) of Charlotte, NC;  sons, Craig Welde (Jennifer) of Eureka, MO, and Kevin Welde of Chesterfield, MO; daughter, Marina Welde of Ft. Meyers, FL; six grandchildren, Kyle, Madison, Serena, Shannon, Austin, and Jackson; sisters, Elsie Brown (Carl) and Dottie Wise (Leigh); brother, Paul Welde; and many loving extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Welde, and sister, Ruth Marshall.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
