Donald Graydon Hurst, 64, passed away December 10, 2020 in Northeast Florida. He was born April 20, 1956 in Wilmington, Delaware. Don graduated from Thomas McKean HS and the University of Delaware, and was also a lifetime member of Cranston Heights Fire Dept. He met his wife, Amy, at University of Delaware, and they were married January 24, 1981. Don's success in business gave them the opportunity to live in several different parts of the county, but they found paradise and their forever home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He made friends everywhere he went, and he never forgot his friends. Don loved good conversation, and/or a good debate, and he loved "making the sale." He shared his love of travel and adventure with anyone and everyone who wanted to tag along. Donald will be remembered for his work ethic, big heart, and his fun sense of humor. Family was most important. He was immensely proud of his children and completely invested in being the best grandfather he could be. Don is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Amy; father, Graydon; sons, Christopher (Critter), Evan (Eltonevon), and Benjamin (Buster) and their wives; grandchildren, Charlie, Mia, and Hadden; brothers, Bob, Bruce, and Drew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Hurst.
