Dorothy St. Germain, 91, passed away November 20, 2020. She was born in Lincoln, RI, on September 2, 1929 to William and Bertha Daigneault. Dorothy loved music and going dancing. She met her late husband of 67 years, Allison Anthony St. Germain, at a dance when she was 19. They would become members of Friends of Ballroom Dancing in Newport, RI. Dorothy loved spending time with her family, especially playing golf with her husband. She enjoyed gardening, playing any type of card game, in particular bridge, where she was a member of the Bridge Club at Del Webb in Ponte Vedra, FL.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Gayle (Mic) Scaramuzzi, Lynn (Frank) Saphire, Jayne (Patrick) McElhaney, and Audrey (John) Hoholik; grandchildren, Allison McElhaney Stocker, Ryan McElhaney, Alexx Hoholik, Morgan Hoholik Everett, Paige Hoholik, Cole Hoholik, Craig Saphire, and Kathryn Saphire; great grandchildren, Benjamin Stocker and Samuel Stocker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 10 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Ponte Vedra Beach. Inurnment will take place at 10:00 am on Friday, December 11 at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Our Lady Star of the Sea Restoration Project.
