Dorothy Irene Knerr, 94, passed away August 23, 2020. She was born to Rosario and Doris Stefano in Alhambra, CA, on November 5, 1925. Dorothy grew up in South Pasadena, CA, and attended Pasadena City College. She was always the glue that held the operation together. Kind and caring to a fault, loyal, classy, polite, a very sweet lady. Dorothy touched many people’s lives from coast to coast. A very patriotic woman who spent 87 years of her life in California, before moving to Florida with her son, Richard, and daughter in law, Jennifer Enright. Dorothy became a proud member of the Family Bible Church in 2013. She was an extensive world traveler, knitter, dog lover, and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard P. Knerr. Dorothy is survived by her children, Jeanne Stokes and Richard Enright; siblings, Bianca, Anita, Tony, Joseph, and Thomas; stepchildren, Melody Marquez Knerr, Chuck Knerr, and Lori Knerr; grandchildren, Kurtis Stokes, Jameson Stokes, Trevor Stokes, David Streit, Bryan Streit, Sarah McCalmon, Julie Schubert, Valerie Stemper, and Jeremiah Gregory; ten great grandchildren.
