Dorothy "Dotty" Sachs (Nee Gajeski) born on October 18, 1945, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, February 5, 2024, in Saint  Augustine, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Steven George Sachs; her mother and father, Wanda and Stanley Gajeski; and Jeanie, her older sister. She is survived by her beloved son, Steven; daughter-in-law, Susan; and her granddaughter, Murphy (as well as many other, nieces, nephews and family members).

Dotty was a life long resident of Long Island, New York. She went to the NY Barbizon School for Modeling, working in the industry for many years before moving on to King Kullen, giving the company 35+ years of service. In the fall of 2021, high-school sweethearts, Dorothy and Steven, moved to sunny Florida to live out their retirement years. Dorothy had a passion for gardening and a love of dogs; but mostly, Dotty had a fierce love and devotion for her true family and friends, by whom she will be greatly missed.
