Dr. Robert (Bob) French Kiely, 64, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away on Friday, May 6th. He was born in Bluefield, West Virginia.
He is survived by his spouse, Robin Lee Kiely; daughters, Candace DeGraaf and Layla Wood; sister, Dr. Marie Kiely Tynan; brothers, Charles Kiely and Guy D Kiely; and five grandchildren.
Bob was the medical director for Jacksonville Fire Rescue for 32 years, a member of the Jacksonville Sherriff’s office SWAT Team, and a Colonel in the 345th Combat Support Hospital, having served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 10th, from 6 to 8 PM at the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 122 Fire Fighter Hall located at 625 Stockton Street, Jacksonville, FL, 32204.
The Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 11th, 10 AM at First Baptist Church - Ruth Lindsay Auditorium, 139 West Ashley Street, Jacksonville, FL, 32202.
Full military honors will be rendered.
