Elaine Filler, 86, passed away on Wednesday, Sept.27, 2023 at McGraw Hospice in Jacksonville, Fl. The majority of her life was spent in Hackettstown, NJ where she began her long and illustrious banking career. She was graduate of The Stonier Institute of Banking and The American Institute of Banking. She retired in 2000 as Vice President of Lakeland Bank in Newfoundland, NJ.

Elaine enjoyed a vigorous life of travel to Europe, the Caribbean, South America & Cuba. She also enjoyed watching tennis, football and hockey. Elaine lived in New Port Richey, FL for 20 years before moving to Ponte Vedra Beach for the last six months.

She was predeceased by her parents, Helen (nee Gombos) & Stephen Filler and her cousin, Carol Schimpf.  She is survived by her cousin, Beverly Carrera and 4 godchildren: Kathleen and Michael Schimpf of NJ, Dana Marshall of VA & Michelle Grazisdei of PA.
