Ellen J. Shaar, age 89, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026. She was born on November 15, 1936, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She lived a full life. In later years she enjoyed traveling with friends, spending time with great-grand children, and was an elegant woman and a fashion plate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael V. Shaar. Ellen is survived by her four children, E. Denise Shaar, K. Michelle Shaar, Michael Vincent Shaar Jr., A. Marie Shaar-Scott (Ken); her grandchildren, Jennifer Brown, Stephanie Scott, and Carmen Guerra; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Yvonne Brown (John); sister in law, Alice Shaar Akel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
