Erin Wolfe Crocker passed away the morning of May 24th, 2020, at age 53 in The Woodlands, TX. She is survived by her husband, Bradley Crocker of 22 years; their children Kathleen (21), Caroline (19), Alexandria (18), and Maximillian (16); her parents, Dave and Tori Wolfe of Imperial Beach, CA; and faithful dogs, Harper and Parker (Sweetie).

Erin was born in Davenport, Iowa, and grew up on her family’s farm in Lost Nation before attending Marquette University where she majored in Communications and minored in Irish history.

Erin’s Facebook bio described her best “My life: 10 moves, 4 kids, 22 years of marriage, 20 years of a northern girl living south of the Mason - Dixon”. This self-described summary doesn’t even begin to tell the story of her inspiring life filled with love, perseverance, family & friends, and her beloved Kitchen aid mixer. It is impossible to speak of Erin while omitting the word generosity.

Erin was able to touch the hearts of countless individuals, showing her love not only through her thoughtfulness and kind heart but also through her preferred method of “focusing on the stomach”. Food was Erin’s love language and there are very few people that Erin met who weren’t fortunate enough to indulge in her blondies, cookies, chocolate cakes, and various other baked goods that she mastered over her 53 years. She passed on these skills and her love for them to her children and many others who she volunteered to teach to cook and bake. Most importantly, she always made sure to leave a container full of cookie dough for her husband and always snuck her children spoonful’s before dinner.

Those who knew Erin were familiar with her tenacity and incredible work ethic. These characteristics provided an incredible career for her where she excelled in Consulting and Project Management at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) and the Chicago Board of Exchange (CBOE). Erin was a strong, gregarious personality and an advocate for righteousness, who wasn’t afraid to stick up for what she believed. Her success was supported by her incredible sense of humor and intellect. Erin was a tireless advocate for those in need and will be remembered forever by those fortunate enough to have met her.

Erin loved to travel with her family and was fortunate to visit almost every continent throughout her life. Some of the events she particularly enjoyed included having a formal dinner on the Great Wall of China; taking Segway tours in Athens and Rome; eating street food, and learning to cook Thai meals in Bangkok; riding a camel in Marrakech, skydiving and learning to surf in Hawaii; walking the ruins of Pompei, watching the penguins in Antarctica, and making macaroons in Paris.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020, 11:00 am at Ponte Vedra Valley.  Erin’s love for her two rescue dogs was undeniable and therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Montgomery County Animal Shelter where her two dogs were rescued or a local animal shelter in her honor.

The family of Erin Crocker will host a reception following her committal and burial service on June 5, 2020.   The reception will be held at their family home, 40 Valencia Street, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.  In keeping with Erin's tradition ample food and drink will be provided.  There are two requirements for attendance.  First, we ask everyone to come armed with a special memory of Erin and second, we request everyone bring a folding chair as the home has abundant indoor/outdoor space but is currently unfurnished.  We really look forward to seeing everyone on Friday to celebrate the life of our remarkable wife and mother.
