Frank Joseph Rubino, Sr., of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, died peacefully on February 25, 2025, after a long and full life.

Frank was born in Port Chester, NY, on July 18, 1926, to Angelo and Maria Rubino. He attended Port Chester High School where he was a cheerleader. His life-long love of exercise began when he joined the YMCA at age 16 and was an active member for 79 years. Frank proudly served in the Army during World War II. He worked for 39 years as an accountant with Homelite Textron. Frank married the love of his life, Rosemarie Cuviello, on June 24, 1951.

Frank was a dedicated and loving husband, father and “GP”(Great Person/Grandpa). He enjoyed dancing, racquetball, golf, travel, time on the beach, and volunteering with his church and community. Anyone who knew Frank knew his favorite song, along with his favorite place, was “New York, New York”. He embraced life fully and his New York style combined with his Italian pride endeared him to the young and old. His ready wit never found him without a quick repartee. His is an indelible impression that will long enrich the lives and hearts of all he met.

Frank was preceded in death 37 years ago to the day by his wife, Rosemarie. He is survived by his children, Lynn, Gail (Dave), Frank, and Michele (Ram); as well as grandchildren, Victoria, Nicholas, Jenny (Bill) and Tracey (Nate); and great-grandchildren, Henry, Evan, Lucy and Molly.

The family will have a private service for Frank this summer in Port Chester, NY. If you would like to donate in his memory, please do so with Brown Family YMCA, 170 Landrum Lane, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082 or via online at https://fundraise.givesmart.com/vf/InMemoryRubino
