George Archie Balow, 72, was called home to the Lord on June 2, 2026. He was born on August 12, 1953 to John and Dolores Balow in Chicago, IL. George was a former sales associate at Home Depot in Costa Mesa, California. He is survived by his senior brother, John (Jack) Balow and Lois (Jan) Balow; and brother-in law, Ronald Mele and Ronald’s son, Craig Mele and his wife, Gina Mele; great nephews, Bradley, Caleb, and Aaron Mele. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:30 pm– 3:30 pm Friday, June 26, 2026 at Ponte Vedra Valley, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32082. In lieu of flowers the family asked donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
