BERTISCH Gerald A. Bertisch died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 24, 2014, in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Born in New York City on December 1, 1933, to Leo and Ruth Bertisch, he is mourned by his beloved wife of 58 years, Carolee, his adored family: sons, Andrew(Charlotte) and Michael(Jennifer), brother, Morton(Emily), grandchildren, Madeleine, Jeremy, Jamie and Kristen, nieces and nephews and many friends. After graduating from Syracuse University, he served in the U.S. Army, then Merchandise Manager of United Whelan Corporation. He founded Automated Personnel International in White Plains, NY, was Vice President of ECPI, and Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch for 23 years until retirement to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, in 1997. Former resident of Rye Brook, NY, and Vermont, a skier and avid golfer, he was a member of Marsh Landing Country Club and The Lodge.
