In loving memory of Harvey Steven Langsam, age 88 of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Harvey was an entrepreneur, storyteller and photographer who saw the world through his own unique lens, and expressed himself with his own unique sense of humor. He was a loving, optimistic and dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Harvey was born on September 5, 1932, in Long Beach, NY. He grew up in Flushing, NY, and attended Admiral Farragut Academy. He joined the United States Air Force and flew F86-A jets in the Korean War. He later attended Adelphi College, and started a career in Merchandising Management at Gimbels. It was there that he met the love of his life Inga in January, and proposed to her on Valentines Day. Their fairytale romance and marriage traversed New York and Massachussets. After many successful years at Herman Miller and in sales, he started his own media company, VCTS, which spanned 20 years. After retirement Harvey and Inga traveled extensively, moved to Cape Cod, MA, and then to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Harvey always traveled his charted course with joy and humor, and those who knew him best would say – he did it his way.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Inga Langsam; daughter, Ariann Langsam (Steven Magiera); grandchildren, Michael, Lindy, and Marshall Magiera; and his brothers, Lawrence (Hannah) Langsam and Barry (Lynda) Langsam.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Harvey’s name to the Lukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Harvey’s positive energy and outlook will be missed by many, and remember that through it all, he stood tall, and did it his way.
