Delores Eileen Hall passed away peacefully at her home in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, on May 1, 2017.  She was 86.  Delores (Dee) was a remarkable woman: intelligent, passionate, caring and beautiful.  She was born on October 27, 1930, in Funkstown, MD, the daughter of the late Roy Edward Weddle and Edna Elizabeth Weddle.  After graduating from Hagerstown High School, Dee attended Strayer Business College in Washington, D.C., where she met her future husband, Hubert Louis Hall.  Dee and Hubert (Hugh) were married on May 8, 1955, and settled in Northern Virginia, where they raised three children: Curtis, Alan, and Susanne.  A devoted mother and loving wife, Dee also was a voluminous reader and especially enjoyed spending time at the family’s cottage on the Chesapeake Bay.  After her children were grown, Dee attended George Washington University and became a certified financial planner.  In 1996, Dee and Hugh moved to Florida, first to Port of the Islands and then, in 2003, to Ponte Vedra Beach.  Dee was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Virginia and Juanita.  She is survived by Hugh, her husband of 62 years, her three children and nine grandchildren.
