Claire Marie Senecal, born August 23, 1943, passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 7, 2018.  Claire was an avid proponent of Game Theory, navigating the political landscape of Washington DC with ease and grace for more than 40 years.   A force to be reckoned with, her combination of sheer will power, and boundless energy was hard to match.  She brought immense creativity and passion to every endeavor, leaving an impression on those she met that would last a lifetime.  When not tackling one of the world’s most difficult jobs, raising two sons, she enjoyed gardening, crafts and designing ridiculously profitable carnival games for school fundraisers.   Claire is survived by her husband, Daniel F. Senecal; her two sons, Matthew A. Senecal and Thomas A. Senecal; her brother, Lynn Hofelich; and nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her father, Wilbur Hofelich, and mother, Grace Hofelich.  Services will be held at Ponte Vedra Valley on Thursday, May 17, beginning with a visitation from 2-3, a time of family sharing from 3:00-3:30, immediately followed by a funeral service and burial.
