KEE James (Jim) A. Kee, Sr., 81 of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, passed away December 30, 2014. He was born on March 17, 1933 in Meriwether County, GA. After serving in the Air Force, Mr. Kee had a very successful sales and sales management career with McJunkin Corporation until he retired in 1998 as a Vice President with the Company. He loved his family, playing golf, traveling and watching college football. He was a member of Sawgrass Chapel. Mr. Kee was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years Gail Kee and his parents Monroe and Bessie Kee. He is survived by his son James A. Kee Jr. (Vera) of Birmingham, AL, his daughter Melanie Ransom (Eugene) of Orange Park, FL, his grandchildren Sarah Chase Kee, Rebecca Kee, David Ransom (Rebekah), Greg Ransom, Annie Ransom, his great granddaughter Isabella Ransom, his special friend Beverly Bertwell and a host of other family and friends. The family with be receiving friends from 12:00 to 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 3, at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home and Cemetery. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 12:30 pm.
