James “Jim” E. De Arman, 78, of Starke, FL, passed away April 20, 2025. He was born on November 9, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Margaret H. McDaniel and James D. De Arman. Jim graduated from Terry Parker High School then proudly served his country in the United States Marines. Jim was considered a jack of all trades, from serving as a police man in Blackshear, Georgia, to ending his career in the insurance industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and James; brother, Wayne; sisters, Julie and Michelle, and wife, Judith De Arman. Jim is survived by his daughter, Jami Hansford and her husband, Archie; brothers, Dale, Gerald, and David; step-sister, Jeri; grandchildren, Ryan Crossway and his wife Masey, Cheyenne Crossway and her boyfriend, Jason Michael, Alexis Crossway, and Abigayle Hansford; great-grandchildren, Dewitt Crossway, Aurora Michael, and Wrenley Michael.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025, 11 am at Ponte Vedra Valley.
