James Lee Williams, 70, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, passed away March 29, 2021. He was born February 25, 1951, to James and Jessie Lee in Corpus Christi, Texas. James’ father died in the Korean War; his mother remarried Ken Williams, who Jim called dad. Jim was a Fireman for ten years, an EMT, a Surgical and Anesthesia Tech, along with a Materials Manager. He had a passion for music and played the drums, often serving the Lord by playing at various churches. Jim volunteered at the Mission House in Jacksonville Beach, and always carried McDonald’s gift cards to give to the homeless. He also enjoyed woodwork and snorkeling for lobster and was a member of Christ Church and Rivertown Church. Jim was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, and loyal friend. He is survived by his wife, Roxanne Williams; daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Wolf, Natalie (Gray) Davis, Stacy (Derek) Martin, and Jennifer Taylor; grandchildren, Chole, Madisyn, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Makayla, Adrian, Jaydon, Jaylyn, and AJ; along with two sisters and several nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving family and friends at a Visitation for Jim on Saturday, April 17, 2021, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Ponte Vedra Valley.
