James “Jamie” Nichols, 53, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away March 11, 2021.  He was born September 28, 1967 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.  Jamie graduated from Jacksonville University and was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.  He owned his own IT consulting business and most recently was working at Bank of America as a Vice President on their IT ‘Swat Team.’  Jamie married Andrea Sutton on November 11, 2000.  He enjoyed reading science fiction and fantasy, golfing, watching his kids play soccer, 80’s metal band music, family vacations, his cats and dogs, and was a die-hard Jacksonville Jaguars fan.  Jamie is survived by his loving wife, Andrea; children, Addison and Benjamin; parents, Roger and Louise Nichols; and siblings, David and Trish.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021, 11:00 am at Ponte Vedra Valley.  In lieu of flowers, please tell someone who hasn’t heard it in a while that you love them. You never know how much they might need to hear it.
