Services under the direction of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Jan is the delight of my life. We had five children: Brent, Dale (Dana), Stephanie, Paul and Heather.  We also have nine grandchildren: Blake, Alexia, Ryan, Jordan, Savannah, Austin, Dallas, Dakota, Dalton (Alia); and three great grandchildren.  Jan also leaves behind a brother, Bill Stewart, a sister, Debbie Howell; and also, many nieces and a nephew.

Jan was a Super House Wife and Mother for 17 years prior to going out of the house to work. She was marvelous at taking care of everything and everybody. We were so lucky and blessed to have her. We will miss her dearly!

Jan retired from Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville, Florida, at which she managed three floors and was known by her co-workers as Mama Jan; she loved her experience there.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various positions of leadership. Jan was always delighted in the service of others.

My lovely daughter's, Stephanie and Heather, have taken wonderful care of their Mother for the past two years.

A special thank you to Debra Harris for filling in to care for our Dear Jan. She was a delight.

Nancy Brickell with Community Hospice, our Nurse, and her team have done a tremendous service. We can't thank them enough!  Our wonderful, sweet neighbors in Terra-Costa have gone over and beyond in the kind gestures for Jan, and our family.

We all love her so much and take much comfort in knowing she is now in the loving care of our Heavenly Father and his Beloved Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
