Jeffrey 'Country' Michael Collins passed away suddenly on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the age of 36, due to complications that arose while he was at home in Atlantic Beach, Florida.
Jeff is survived by his devoted fiancée and soulmate of 20 years, Brandy Roberts, and their long-awaited, precious baby on the way. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Latriese Singleton; his father-in-law, Michael Roberts; his niece, Majiya Singleton; his brother, Tracy Coyer; his best friend, Steven Hart; and his two beloved fur babies, Bella and Roxy.
Jeff was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on January 30, 1987. He moved and stayed in Florida for most of his life. Jeff enjoyed life and had many hobbies, such as playing basketball with his friends, camping and spending time in nature, collecting shoes, and cooking for his family and friends. Jeff had a big heart, and people will remember him as an incredible man who was always there for anyone in need.
Jeff was an exceptional leader at Outback, where he worked for 20 years as the Assistant Kitchen Manager. His dedication and passion for his craft were evident in every dish he touched, and he took great joy in bringing happiness to people's lives through his food.
We will honor and remember Jeffrey “Country” Collins on Sunday, November 19, 4:00-6:00 pm at Ponte Vedra Valley for a viewing. A service will be held on Monday, November 20, 11:00 am at Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church.
Immediately following the service celebration of life, a reception will be held at South Beach Community Center in Jacksonville Beach.
