Jennifer Dawn DiVita, 44 years old, of Neptune Beach, FL, passed away and went to join her mother in Heaven on March 28, 2021. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and fur-baby mother to Maggie, her favorite dog in the world.
Jennifer was born in Charleston, WV, on November 7, 1976. She grew up in Neptune Beach, FL, graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher High School, then went on and earned a bachelor’s degree and completed her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, both from the University of North Florida. Jennifer resided in Jacksonville, FL, at the time of her passing.
Jennifer had a burning passion to help underprivileged children and help others before she ever worried about herself.
Jennifer was always the life of the party. No one would even make plans until they knew what Jennifer was up to. She loved life, cherished friendships, and did anything she could to help others. Jennifer celebrated life and did not waste one moment. She was a free spirit, loved God and everyone else she encountered.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon DiVita. She is survived by her father, Thomas Lee DiVita; sister, Crista Marie Bridges; twin brothers, Thomas Lee DiVita, II and Patrick William DiVita; her nieces, Ainsley Bridges, Taylor DiVita, and Morgan DiVita; nephew, Thomas Lee DiVita, III; grandparents, Floyd and Rhoda Keeney; several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and her amazing dog, Maggie, who Jennifer loved more than life itself.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to consider making a donation in Jennifer’s memory to Daniel Kids, 4203 Southpoint Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32216 or www.danielkids.org/donate/give-now. Please make sure to notate “In Memory of Jennifer DiVita” with your donation.
