Karl Edward Keusch, 49, died Sunday, August 15, 2021, from complications related to COVID-19. Karl was born on August 1, 1972, in Lansing, Michigan, to Karl Kameron Keusch and Mary Louise Willard. He graduated from Gateway High School in 1990 and then attended Valencia Community College where he received his Associates Degree. After school he went to work in the automotive industry and over the years worked for major dealerships like Toyota, Coggin, Honda, GMC, Chevrolet and most recently GMC Buick in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was a Body Shop Parts Associate. Karl loved his job, the people he worked with and the friends he made there. His passion for restoring cars and love in general anything car related made his career choice a perfect match for him. Karl married the love of his life, Shannon McKeon on October 16, 1993, at the Kissimmee Lakefront. Not only was Karl an amazing husband, but he was also the proudest father who always doted on his children. His children brought him so much joy and happiness. You always saw Karl with a smile on his face when he was with his children. Although Karl enjoyed many things like reading biographies and history, working on model cars, restoring vintage Camaros and the like, his favorite thing was spending time with his family. Some of his cherished things were playing card games and board games, going bike riding through the neighborhood with the kids, going to the beach, teaching the kids to boogie board, letting the kids bury him in the sand, camping in North Carolina, sitting next to a huge fire on a cool Fall’s night and taking in the scenery while driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Karl was an honorable, silly, funny, humble man who always put everyone else’s needs above his own. Karl attended Christian Family Chapel for the last four years, loved listening to Pastor Doug preach and teach, loved the worship music, and had formed many wonderful relationships there. Karl is survived by his wife, Shannon Keusch, two daughters, Hannah Keusch and Hailey Keusch and a son, Hayden Keusch, Jacksonville, Florida. his mother, Mary Keusch, St. Cloud, Florida, his brother, Kevin Keusch and sister-in-law, Holly Keusch, St. Cloud, Florida, three nieces, Kelsey Keusch, Foley Alabama, Aliyah and Autumn Keusch, St. Cloud, Florida, a nephew, Kameron Rupp, Cape Canaveral, Florida, several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in Michigan. He was proceeded in death by his father, Karl Kameron Keusch.
