DONOVAN Karla Susanne Donovan, 37, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. She was the beloved wife of James Jay Donovan and loving mother to Aidan and Reese. Karla's large family adored her as their daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and aunt. Karla's easy smile, love of living in the moment, and natural way of looking at life remain an inspiration to all of us. Karla was born in Millington, TN, on February 23, 1978, to Patricia Matthews and Robert Mckay Matthews, II. She was definitely a Florida girl and lived in Jacksonville, Cocoa, Orlando, Babson Park, and Ponte Vedra Beach. Karla was an incredibly kind and loving person who loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family and friends. Her creative talents and love of children and animals always gave a comfortable and easy grace to her home and those in her presence. Karla's family would like to welcome all her extended family and friends to a viewing at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home, 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, this Friday evening, February 5, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and the funeral on Saturday, February 6, 11:00 a.m., at Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church, 4510 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach.
