BROWN Kimberley Leanne Gillespie Brown, 39 of Jacksonville, FL, became an Angel in Heaven with our Heavenly Father on September 15, 2014. Kim was born on May 8, 1975 to Taylor and Sandie Gillespie in Amarillo, TX. She moved to Jacksonville in 1993 where she received her nursing degree in 2002. Kim worked at Shands from 2002 to 2011 then moved to Baptist South in labor and delivery. She married Timothy Brown on June 30, 2007. Kim will be remembered for her radiant smile, compassionate heart, and caring nature; but, above all, as an amazing mom, completely devoted to her twin daughters. She had amazing creative talents as shown through her Halloween costumes, home d cor and gifts. Kim was greeted in heaven by her father, Taylor Gillespie, and brother-in-law, Jeff Parton. She leaves behind her husband, Timothy Brown; twin daughters, Brianna and McKenzie Brown; mom, Sandie Gillespie, of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Kristin Parton of Amarillo, TX; nephews, Spencer and Taylor Parton of Amarillo, TX; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Lynn Brown, of Seymour, CT; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Kim Brown, of Higganum, CT; grandparents, Ernie and Helen Greywacz, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held at The Church of Eleven22 on Saturday, September 20, at 11:00am. Her impact on this earth is far-reaching and in her final act of compassion, she donated her organs helping several people have a new hope on life.
