Lawrence E. Schlesser, 74, of Ponte Vedra, passed away on September 3, 2024. Larry was a graduate of Marist High School in Chicago, IL. He was a student for two years at Saint Gregory’s University in Shawnee, OK, and one year at Southern Illinois University. Larry retired from a successful real estate career, owning three Remax Real Estate franchises. He was a faithful member of Crosswater Community Church.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, Ponte Vedra; daughters, Amy L. Sullivan (Shane), Littleton, CO and Sara R. Orens (Dave), Arlington VA.; two step daughters, Julie A. Carpenter, South Bend, IN, and Sarah R. Bergstrom (Kip), Mendota Heights, MN; five grandchildren: Blake, Amelia, Ruby, Miles and Lydia; two great grandchildren: Benjamin and Evelyn; and one sister, Roberta (Ed Cygan), Chicago Ridge, IL.

A chapel and graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 11 am at Ponte Vedra Valley Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Crosswater Community Church -- in his memory -- would be appreciated.
