Leslie Fai Palmer, 73, died peacefully at her home in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, with family by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Kunkel; parents, Douglas W. and Faith (Broadwell) Palmer; brother, Scott (Bernie) Palmer; and sister, Jane Palmer.  She is survived by brothers, Craig (Kim) Palmer, Dave (Leslie) Palmer, Todd (Gayle) Palmer, Kevin (Linda) Palmer; sister, Katie Palmer-Williams; brothers-in-law, Fr. Ron Kunkel and Bill Kunkel; along with many nieces, nephews, loving friends and caregivers.

Leslie was born in Washington D.C., and grew up in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas high school and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from University of Missouri St. Louis. She started her long career as a programmer with a small company in Ferguson, Missouri, and went on as a technologist becoming Vice President of Technology at Mastercard. She thrived at everything and started her own technology company, later becoming Executive Vice President and CIO at Citigroup.

Leslie loved life, family, and God. She enjoyed the arts since childhood playing the flute and dancing ballet. She had fun gardening, cooking, relaxing, and traveling. Until we meet again in heaven, we will miss you.

Services will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters, MO, on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 10:30 am.
